The video side lives on Alex Kropp Official. This site is where the detail goes, the stuff that does not fit in a sixty second clip. What a product is like three months in rather than three minutes in.
Why there are no scores
Every tech site scores things out of ten and almost none of them mean anything. An 8.5 tells you nothing about whether a chair suits your back, whether an air purifier is the right size for your room, or whether a gadget survives a house with four kids in it.
So there is no number here. Every write-up tells you who a thing suits, who it does not, and what it is genuinely like to live with once the novelty has gone. That is harder to write and considerably more useful to read.
Why written at all
Video is good at showing you a thing. It is bad at letting you check one detail six months later when you are actually ready to buy. Writing is searchable, skimmable, and can be updated when something changes.
Who this is for
People setting up a home office on a real budget, parents working out whether a bit of smart home gear is worth it in a busy house, and anyone who wants the honest version rather than the launch-day one.
