Products sent to us
Brands send products. That is how this industry works and pretending otherwise would be dishonest. Every page states plainly whether a product was supplied, part of a paid partnership, or bought with our own money.
Being sent something does not buy a positive write-up. If a product is not worth your money, the page says so. A brand that cannot live with that is a brand we do not work with.
No scores
This site does not score products out of ten and does not publish star ratings, including in its structured data. A single number implies an objectivity that does not exist, and it invites the category inflation you see everywhere else.
Instead each write-up covers who a product suits, who it does not, and what living with it is actually like. If you want a number to compare two things quickly, this is not the site for that, and that is a deliberate choice rather than an oversight.
Time before opinion
Nothing is written up off an unboxing. Products are used properly first, over months where that matters, because most of what goes wrong with a thing only shows up after the novelty wears off.

Facts and corrections
Claims are checked against the manufacturer's own source before publishing. Where something is a leak, a rumour or an estimate rather than a confirmed fact, the page says so in plain words rather than presenting it as settled.
