Acer announced the Predator Atlas 7 on 2 September at its next@acer press conference in Berlin. Model number PA07-I51. It is a Windows 11 handheld, ships with Xbox Game Pass Premium and PC Game Pass trials, and is aimed at people who found the 8-inch Atlas too big to travel with.

The specs Acer has confirmed

The processor is up to an Intel Arc G3 Extreme with Intel Arc B390 graphics, with a lesser Arc G3 and B370 option. Memory tops out at 24GB of LPDDR5x and storage at 1TB on a standard 2280 NVMe drive, which is the full-size kind you can swap yourself.

The screen is a 7-inch 1920 by 1080 IPS panel at 120Hz with variable refresh rate, 500 nits, 10-point touch and Gorilla Glass Victus. Acer includes a tempered glass screen protector in the box, which is a small thing that most brands make you buy separately.

The battery is up to 80Wh, with a lighter 60Wh version also listed. Acer quotes under 750 grams with the big battery and under 700 grams with the small one. For comparison, that 80Wh figure is at the top end of what any handheld ships with right now.

Two Thunderbolt 4 ports, a UHS-II microSD slot, a headphone jack, Wi-Fi 7 and Bluetooth 5.4. The power button has a fingerprint reader. Controls include Hall effect triggers and an option for TMR joysticks, the magnetic type that does not develop drift.

Cooling is two fans, one of them a metal Predator AeroBlade with 89 blades, which Acer claims moves about 10 percent more air than a plastic equivalent. That is Acer's own internal testing.

Availability and price

Acer says North America from Q4 2026 and EMEA from November 2026. Australia is not mentioned. There is no price for any region. Acer's standard line is that specs, prices and availability vary by region, so do not assume the Australian model, if there is one, matches the sheet above exactly.

The larger Predator Atlas 8, which launched at Computex, is due in North America and EMEA from September 2026. Again, nothing on Australia.

The concept alongside it

Acer also showed Project DualPlay Mini, an 8-inch handheld with a built-in backlit keyboard and a flip and swivel hinge that turns it into a tiny laptop. Acer says plainly it is a concept only, so treat it as a look at what the engineers are playing with, not a product.
